Comfama is a private non-profit entity organized as a Corporation, which fulfills social security functions. It was established in accordance with Colombian laws on June 30, 1954. The main domicile is the city of Medellín, in the Department of Antioquia, Republic of Colombia. Comfama offers a wide range of services and programs to improve the quality of life for its members. These services include healthcare, education, recreation, and cultural activities. Comfama also provides financial assistance, housing solutions, and job placement services. It aims to promote social inclusion and contribute to the development of its members and the community. It currently has 2,104,854 health affiliates and 13,426,745 health activities. The company has more than 114 thousand employers and 4.3 million workers and members.
