King Salman Armed Forces Hospital in the Northwestern Region provides medical care to all members of the armed forces. The hospital was opened on 10/2/1400 AH with a capacity of (129). In 2018 AD it has approximately 900 beds. It was the first government hospital to introduce laparoscopic technology in the Kingdom in 1991 AD. King Khalid Armed Forces Hospital includes a rehabilitation center for elderly patients, men and women, and people with special needs, in addition to the mental health department, the family medicine center, the preventive medicine department, the home medicine department, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Center for Autism and Developmental Disorders, and the dental center. It includes all different medical specialties and subspecialties, and thus it has become a reference for all hospitals in the northwest region.
