MiiCare is a social enterprise set up by a group of professionals with diverse industry backgrounds, ranging from healthcare to technology and product development. MiiCare supports families of older adults, care agencies, and care facilities with staff that looks after older residents. The MiiCare platform is built on the latest Artificial Intelligence and cloud technologies working alongside an ecosystem of smart wireless sensors to learn about the user’s health and activities. The platform combines MiiCube which hosts Monica the digital health coach, room sensors, health devices, and a smartwatch. The system is GDPR secure, does not need home WiFi, and respects users’ privacy by not recording voice or conversations and never using cameras. MiiCare’s AI turns health data into situational awareness to notify of a sudden or gradual change in health conditions or behaviour.
