OGE Energy Corp. is a holding company whose primary investment provides electricity in Oklahoma and western Arkansas. OGE Energy’s electric utility operations are conducted through OG&E, which generates, transmits, distributes, and sells electric energy in Oklahoma and western Arkansas. OG&E was incorporated in 1902, and is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. OG&E serves more than 896,102 customers in 267 towns and cities in a 30,000 square mile area of Oklahoma and western Arkansas. On December 31, 2023, OGE Energy had 2,329 full-time employees, of which 1,936 are OG&E employees.
