San Francisco International Airport (SFO) was incorporated in 1927 and its headquarters is in San Franciso, CA. It is a department of the City and County of San Francisco and a transparent organization dedicated to serving the local community as well as the millions of travelers. It is a major international gateway to more than 125 destinations and the nation's most innovative and busiest airport serving more than 53 million passengers per year. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) offers non-stop flights to more than 40 international cities on 37 international carriers. The Bay Area's largest airport connects non-stop with over 75 cities in the U.S. on 13 domestic airlines. It has flights to points throughout the US and is a major gateway to Europe, the Middle East, Asia, South Pacific, and Oceania. In 2022 passenger traffic at SFO concluded with approximately 34.9 million passengers with an increase in the number of flight operations (takeoffs and landings) by 57.2%. The department has approximately 1,700 with operating revenue of $ 821,253. During Fiscal Year 2022, SFO welcomed five new airlines: Air Transat, Breeze Airways, Condor, Flair Airlines, and Vietnam Airlines.
