Founded in 1891, Scania is a world-leading provider of transport solutions, including trucks and buses for heavy transport applications combined with an extensive product-related service offering. Scania is also a leading provider of power solutions for industrial and marine applications. With more than 58,000 employees in more than 100 countries, Scania is a truly global player. Scania’s production takes place in Europe and Latin America, and a production site in Asia is underway. Research and development is carried out globally, with the main site in Södertälje, Sweden acting as the hub for its R&D activities. In 2023, the company delivered 91,652 trucks, 5,075 buses and coaches as well as 13,871 industrial and marine power systems to its customers. Net sales totaled over SEK 204 billion.
