After its spinoff from the parent, Western Wireless on May 3, 1999, VoiceStream Wireless was purchased by Deutsche Telekom AG in 2001. T-Mobile US, Inc. is an American wireless network operator majority-owned by German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom (DT). The company was established in 1994 its headquarters are located in Bellevue, Washington, in the Seattle metropolitan area of the US.
