The OnePlus Nord CE 5G, the latest model in the OnePlus Nord line, was unveiled via livestream on Thursday. The new smartphone differs significantly from the original OnePlus Nord, which was released in July of last year, in order to appeal to a wider audience. Since the debut of the OnePlus 6T in October 2018, the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G has been advertised as having the thinnest design. The smartphone also comes in three different colour variants and has a matte and glossy back finish.

The 6GB + 128GB storage option of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G costs Rs. 22,999 in India. The phone is also available in an 8GB + 128GB storage model for Rs. 24,999 and a top-of-the-line 12GB + 256GB storage model for Rs. 27,999. It will be available for purchase on Amazon and OnePlus.in, starting from June 16 in the colours Blue Void (matte), Charcoal Ink (glossy), and Silver Ray. The new OnePlus phone will be available for pre-order starting June 11.
Customers who buy the OnePlus Nord CE 5G with an HDFC Bank credit card or via EMI will get a Rs. 1,000 discount, and Jio subscribers who recharge with the Rs. 999 plan, will get Rs. 6,000 in perks. Customers who purchase the OnePlus Nord CE with the OnePlus Buds Z or OnePlus Band from the OnePlus.in website, will receive a guaranteed discount of Rs. 500. The phone will also be available on a no-cost EMI plan. Members of the OnePlus Red Cable programme who pre-order the OnePlus Nord CE on Amazon, will earn a Rs. 500 rebate.
In Europe, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G will be available for purchase at a starting price of EUR 299, as well (roughly Rs. 26,600). At their virtual webcast, OnePlus also unveiled the OnePlus TV U1S with the new smartphone.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs on Android 11 and OxygenOS 11. It has a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90 frames per second. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, as well as an Adreno 619 GPU and 6GB of RAM, power the smartphone.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G features a triple rear camera configuration with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens and electronic image stabilisation (EIS), an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.25 ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 lens for photographs and videos. The phone also contains a time-lapse feature and an LED flash module.
Onboard storage on the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is up to 256GB. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NaVIC, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone connector are among the connectivity choices. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. The phone also boasts a super linear speaker with noise suppression and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone comes with a 4,500mAh battery, which is 385mAh more than the OnePlus Nord. The phone's built-in battery is linked with OnePlus' patented Warp Charge 30T Plus technology, which claims to charge it from zero to 70% in half an hour. That's the same as what was claimed for the OnePlus Nord, which included Warp Charge 30T. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is 159.2x73.5x7.9mm in size and weighs 170 grams.
