Furthermore, the market players which include BMW, Honda Motorcycle, Hinckley, and others are coming up with innovative products to leverage the growing adoption of motorcycle E-call. For instance, In june 2020, Bosch developed a new emergency call system for motorcycles. Called Help Connect, the system automatically sends out an alert to emergency services in the event of an accident. The Bosch Help Connect system features an 'intelligent crash algorithm' that's installed in the motorcycle's inertial sensor unit. The system, along with the Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC), measures acceleration and angular velocity one hundred times a second. In the unfortunate event that the motorcycle meets with an accident, the system detects the sudden change in speed and angular position of the motorcycle, and automatically sends out an alert via the Bosch Vivatar smartphone app. Moreover, in April 2021, Hinckley, launched a new Triumph SOS app, an accident detection system. In event of an accident the application automatically delivers the rider’s key details to nearby emergency services such as GPS location, bike details, direction of travel, and vital medical information.

In November 2020, Ride Vision, announced the international launch of its AI-driven, safety-alert technology to prevent motorcycle collisions on the road. Ride Vision uses a combination of image-recognition and AI technologies to power its solution, the first of its kind. The company’s patented human-machine warning interface (HMI) and predictive vision algorithms help riders make critical life-saving decisions in real time. The hardware includes two wide-angle cameras mounted on both the front and rear of the vehicle, unique alert indicators placed on the mirrors, and an onboard main computing unit that stores Ride Vision’s patented algorithms.
