CGTech released the latest version of their CNC Software – VERICUT 9.4. This version of Vericut brings about a wide variety of new features and improvements, aimed to provide greater efficiency and better connectivity.
VERICUT is a CNC software that allows simulation, monitoring, and optimization for all kinds of CNC machines. With Vericut’s seamless integration with machines and management systems, it is easy to detect any errors and inefficiencies in CNC machines. This is beneficial in avoiding any problems and ensuring a smooth operation.
The latest release of VERICUT introduces CNC Machine Monitoring, a new module that allows a direct connection with CNC Machines, enabling real-time monitoring of the machine activity and function. This module allows easy monitoring of the running NC subroutines or programs, machine motion, spindle activity and much more.
This release is also accompanied by a standalone application called CNC Precheck that works along with VERICUT to precheck and verify that machine setups are in sync with the Vericut verification. This allows users to identify and resolve any mismatched, missing, or wrong parameters in the NC program such as versions, edits, work, tool offset and more.
Before its anticipated release, Gene Granata, director of product management, CGTech, highlighted the key focus of this new version, saying - "The release of 9.4 focuses on improving what makes VERICUT a powerful tool while enabling customers to connect both new and existing technologies across their manufacturing ecosystem,”
She continued further, explaining how the new version is beneficial for better efficiency for the various teams involved, saying - “The improvements and new capabilities within VERICUT enable teams involved across manufacturing to work more efficiently and intelligently, while simultaneously enabling higher competency levels for machinists and NC programmers.”
These statements are perfectly in line with the highlighted features of the latest VERICUT release, taking the industry leader to the next level.
The highlighted features of VERICUT 9.4, besides the new module and standalone app that we already cover, include – a new ToolUnited interface, Tool Data enhancements, improvements to VERICUT reviewer and overall streamlined optimization.
This latest release is bound to make things easier for existing and new users of VERICUT and streamline things for CNC machine users.
