Qualcomm’s Latest AI-Enabled Tech To be Featured in Hyundai Motor Group’s Purpose-Built Vehicles

On August 3rd, 2023, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. announced they’re joining hands with the Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) for a technical collaboration. This collaboration aims to bring Qualcomm’s latest version of AI-based technology – Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform to HMG’s upcoming Purpose-Built Vehicle (PBV), providing a seamless infotainment system.

Qualcomm, an American multinational corporation, has been an industry leader in generating software, services and semiconductors related to wireless technology. This wireless technology extends to automotive solutions, wherein they have recently developed Snapdragon Digital Chassis – a set of cloud-connected platforms for automobiles.

Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform is one of these platforms, which comes with an advanced GPU and AI engine. This platform will be integrated into HMG’s upcoming PBVs – providing amazing software and connectivity features for a personalised and seamless infotainment system and cabin experience.

The Hyundai Motor Group, headquartered in Seol, South Korea, has a lineup that consists of 3 automotive companies.
