Totall is a recycling industry leader in North America that processes a wide range of metal scraps and other recyclables. The integration of Totall Metal Recycling’s team of skilled professionals and partner network widens the recycling capabilities of Wieland and accelerates the execution of its sustainability and recycling strategy, especially in terms of material processing capabilities. This acquisition will further support Wieland to step ahead toward red metal recycling leadership in North America. 

In March 2022, ArcelorMittal acquired Scottish recycling business John Lawrie Metals Ltd. This acquisition is a part of the ArcelorMittal strategy to increase the use of scrap steel to reduce the CO2 emissions from steelmaking.
