The global non-auxiliary near field communication (NFC) products market is estimated to grow at a significant CAGR during the forecast period. Internal NFC-enabled accessories, such as NFC IC/Chips built for smartphones to perform contactless payments, access control, and secure data sharing with other NFC devices, are known as non-auxiliary NFC products. Near field communication is based on a wireless interface that allows all communication devices and electronic gadgets to communicate with one another by establishing radio connectivity when they are nearby. This technology is mostly used for short-range data transmission on smartphones, computers, and tablets.

An NFC chip is developed from radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, works as one component of a wireless link. When activated by another chip, tiny quantities of data may be transmitted between the two devices when they are kept a few centimeters away. It doesn't require a pairing code to connect, and it's considerably more power-efficient than other wireless communication types as it uses chips that run on extremely low power. NFC works with the use of enabled cards and devices (and, by extension, bank accounts, and other personal information) to identify personal information.

Mobile commerce is an emerging technology sector.  NFC technology is being used by smartphone users to make payments. Furthermore, with technologies such as NFC-enabled PoS systems, mobile devices have become a significant means of data transfer. Several financial institutions are working with mobile app developers to create apps that will allow users to conduct business transactions. Despite severe space and power restrictions, smart wearables and IoT devices are growing in popularity. When a wearable device has NFC capabilities, it may be used to allow the device to pay in a store, access mass transit, or office building. The rise of non-auxiliary NFC products has been driven by the increased usage of NFC in smartphones.
