  • In June 2020, PulPac announced world’s first pilot line of dry molded fiber to replace single-use plastics. To accelerate the replacement of single-use plastics across the globe, PulPac licenses the technology to brands and manufacturers establishing their own manufacturing. 
  • In January 2020, Heinzel Group declared that it will invest nearly $49.3 million to further widen the pulp manufacturing at its Styrian location in Pöls (Austria). The investment will support the manufacturing of up to 100,000 metric tons of brown (unbleached) pulp by the end of 2021. This pulp can be utilized as the foundation for brown kraft paper, along with the manufacturing of white (NBSK) pulp in the future.
