Key Players are Promoting their Beverages With Attractive Convenience-Driven Packaging Which is Driving the Canned Organic Wine Market

Published: Jun 2022

The global organic wine market is anticipated to grow at a significant CAGR of 10.4% during the forecast period. Cans are gradually gaining traction and finding their application in carbonated drink packaging which, in turn, is driving the growth of the canned organic wines market. Due to added convenience, and portability metallic cans such as aluminum and steel cans are extensively being used in the beverage industry. Aluminum cans pose an opportunity for environment-friendly packaging for organic wines as they weigh less than glass bottles and therefore also lessen the carbon footprint of transporting from the vineyard to the distributors. The lightweight and relatively unbreakable properties are gaining attraction among people which is driving the consumer preference toward cans. To cater to this growing demand, organic wine manufacturers are inclining toward the launches of canned organic wines in the market. For instance, in June 2019, Bonterra Organic Vineyards announced the launch of nationally available organically farmed wine in cans. The new collection includes popular varietals Bonterra Sauvignon Blanc and Bonterra Rosé as well as stylish newcomer Bonterra Young Red. The range delivers on the growing demand for organically sourced wines and eye-catching, convenience-driven packaging. Bonterra's four packs of 250ml cans are priced at $19.99 SRP and are available nationally.
