RF Antenna Market To Reach $4.25 Billion By 2035

Published: Dec 2025

The global RF antenna market is expected to reach USD 4.25 billion by 2035 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 3.8% from 2026 to 2035, according to Orion Market Research. Governments and telecom regulators globally are rolling out 5G networks, and this infrastructure build-out is creating demand for RF antenna systems across multiple frequency bands and end-user sectors. According to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), 5G network coverage reached about  51% of the global population in 2024. In high-income countries, coverage is as high as 84 %, while in low-income countries it’s as low as 4%, reflecting sizeable investment and uneven global deployment.

As per the Government of India, Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications. Since its launch in October 2022, 5G services have been rolled out in all States/ UTs across the country, and presently, it is available in 99.6% of the districts in the country. In February 2025, 4.69 lakhs 5G Base Transceiver Stations (BTSs) were installed by the Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) across the country. Each 5G cell site (macro or small-cell) employs multiple RF antennas configured for different frequency bands (sub-GHz, mid-band, high-band). Operators deploy 5G infrastructure across L-band, S-band, C-band, and UHF/VHF supplemental bands, which directly increases the need for a wide range of antennas.
