In June 2022, Nike and Tom Sachs officially announced the NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe (GPS). While the Tom Sachs Mars Yard shoe was designed with space exploration in mind, the GPS is more for everyday life. It’s built with a breathable knit, a microfiber collar, straps, and a three-piece molded cup sole. The materials were chosen to “provide comfort, support, and a high degree of tactile sensation in a well-priced product.”

In June 2022, Garmin launched the GPS running smartwatch with solar charging - the Forerunner 955 Solar and the GPS running smartwatch Forerunner 255 series in India. The new additions to Garmin’s Forerunner range are triathlon-ready smartwatches equipped with training features designed for professional and mid-level runners and athletes.

In August 2021, Fitbit officially launched its latest fitness tracker, the Fitbit Luxe, in India. The fitness tracker is significantly more expensive than the range of most fitness trackers on sale in India as it comes in as a premium offering for those that want the accuracy of Fitbit fitness tracking features along with a significantly unique design statement.
